Chapter V
Travelling back.

The 501st Legion got the best and worst of the war. Assigned to various Jedi depending on the battle, not like other squadrons that had their own Jedi General. Out of all the Jedi Yin served, Anakin Skywalker caught his interest the most. He was unpredictable, arrogant and powerful.

Yin's armour was now blue, he was representing his legion. He had seen sites so traumatising that he began to understand why clones were expendable, even if they survived this war, they would never be OK again.

Yin was war hardened, no longer a 'shiny' clone trooper.

It had been over a year since the war began.

Yang: We will be passing through soon. I won't be able to speak long but I haven't seen you since we left Kamino.

Yin: I know brother. How was your last objective?

Yang: Grevious Escaped. He killed one of my fellow commandos, Tai was a good man.

Yin: I'm sorry.

Yang: Yeah...Our unit must be a four. One to lead, one to specialise in system hacking, explosive specialist and well.....Tai's gone.

Yin: He's being replaced?

Yang: The new commando will be meeting your squad soon.....I got to go, Yang out.

Yin lay back against the stone wall. He knew not the name of the planet. He had been too excited about meeting Yang to remember the little details.

Rex: OK Listen up Squad, In a minute we will be receiving additional reinforcements and can continue our pursuit of Passel Argenta, a member of the separatist council, I want him alive, he may have valuable information and Chancellor Palpatine considers this mission of the highest importance.

A republic cruiser was seen above and 2 escape pots descended. 2 People emerged from each one. The 3 commandos and A Jedi were seen emerging. Anakin Skywalker.

Yin: Brother!

Yang had walked up to Yin and grabbed his arm and they bumped fists in sign of respect.

Yang: Yin you look different, your armour, your face! Look at those scars, you've seen the war all right.

Yang removed his helmet to reveal his face, he had no hair, scars and bruises.

Yin: Have you been working out? You look bigger than a wookie!

Yang: Heavy armour.... Wearing it is a workout on it's own.

Yin: Listen...

At that point a commando ran towards them and stood in front of Yin. He was wearing black and white armour.

Bosh: I'm the new commando, replacing Tai, Bosh.

Yang shook is hand.

I'm Yang, leader of Shadow Squad, our missions are stealthy and therefore we do not exist to the enemy.

Bosh: I won't let you down.

Rex: Commandos, over her! Skywalker, if you please?

Yin was annoyed how the higher ranks got the secret briefs, the marines never got to hear what the full objective was just their own, never the big picture.

As Yang and Bosh began walking Bosh waited a few seconds for Yang to get further away before he turned to Yin.

Bosh: Hey...Urm listen Yin.....This is going to sound a little weird but... In a minute our squads are going to be separated, the commandos move up hill, the 501st up the mountain, you however are going to wait at the back of the line and when no one is looking go through the forest until you find the beach front.

Yin: What? Why? I'll get into trouble, I can't disobey orders.

Bosh: No wait!....When you get to the beach your see a small republic star fighter flying towards you, it's full of commando droids, they can impersonate clones, they plan to ambush us.

Yin: What? Then we must warn the others!

Bosh: Wait! I've placed charges on the beach front, when they land they will be destroyed but you have an important task, you must steal the uniform from the droid impersonating the commando, wear the armour and wait by the beach, the rest you will figure out.

Yin: What are you talking about? Who are you?

Bosh: You wouldn't believe me even if I told you Yin.

Yin: How do you know my name?

Bosh: No time to explain just do me this favour.

Yin: I cannot...

Bosh: That's an order, from a commando!

Bosh left to meet up with the other leaders.

Yin stared after him, confused.

5 minutes passed and Rex began talking.

Rex: OK Men, The commandos are going to move left whilst we will begin our climb up the mountain, we cannot use vehicles, we don't want to be tracked. We must capture the separatist leader.

The men lined up and began marching.

Yin was at the back and began walking with them.

The area was rocky, nothing but stone and mould was seen.

The men continued to walk until 3 different paths presented themselves. One was left up a stone hill, one was a cliff base and on the far left were trees, the forest entrance.

As the groups stopped and prepared to separate, Yin took his chance and slipped into the forest.

Yin was worried, he felt like a school boy braking the rules for the first time.

He ran through the forest, on and on he ran until he stopped, completely lost.

Bosh: Yin do you read me?

Yin: Yes this is Yin, Bosh I'm lost, I have no idea where I am?

Bosh: Yes I remember saying that.....Ahh yes, he said....I even said* Follow the Geejaw!

Yin: What?!

Bosh: Listen to me Yin, In a minute a large bird will fly past, it will be heading towards the ocean to catch it's prey, follow it. Remember when you get there you will see a large rock with a detonator on it, take it and wait for the droids to arrive. Get the commando to cover and detonate the others.

Yin: Can you please tell me what's going on?

There was no reply

Yin sat down, confused and annoyed, just then a large, leather winged bird came flying past.

Yin: A geejaw....Follow it?

Yin began to chase the large bird and ran until he came to a clearing.

He was at the beach front. He looked around, looking for the detonator. He smelled burning and saw smoke. He followed it until he found the source. A republic fighter was lying in pieces along the beach, the beach was scorched and clone trooper armour was scattered only instead of helmets, droid faces were visible.

Yin: I'm too late!

Yin's foot brushed against a sack. He opened it and it contained small bombs.

Yin: This doesn't make any sense. Commando Bosh told me to come here and destroy the droids and steal the suit. The ship's gone, along with the fake commando, the bombs are here though?

Yin looked around and saw a large boulder with a detonator on it.

Holding the sack he picked up the detonator.

Yin: What is this? Oh no, Bosh! He was the imposter! No wait? why would it ask me to come here? What's that smell?

Even with his helmet on, Yin could smell something. Gas?

He heard a hissing noise. The damaged fighter has gad escaping from it. Just as Yin was figuring this out the ship exploded.

Yin, still holding the explosives was knocked back. As he sat up flames came towards him. He let out a yell.

All of a sudden the flames stopped. They were frozen, an inch away from Yin. Yin stared at them confused. All of a sudden they reversed, flying back towards the ship. Yin watched in confusion as everything started to go backwards, the clouds, the waves, everything.

Everything started going blurry, the ship seemed to repair it'self and blurry figures could be seen. Before it started it finished.

Yin lay down, dissy and exhausted. What happened?

He sat back up and removed his helmet.

The ship was gone, the beach looked slightly different and it was no longer evening but morning.

Yin looked around confused and worried. Just as he was putting his helmet back on a republic fighter could be seen in the far distance.
